Serco Inc is looking for a Project Control Analyst - Entry Level to join our team. You will participate in the planning, tracking, analysis and reporting of performance on projects of varying contract type, size, complexity and level of risk for large IDIQ Contract vehicle . The Project Control Analyst is a key member of the program team and works directly with the Program Manager to help define the project's goals and objectives; and recommends actions to improve progress and performance.

In this role you will have significant interface with Program/Project Managers, senior technical staff, as well as other functional organizations including contracts, finance, accounts receivable, subcontract management and procurement.

Key Duties In This Role

• Assist with EAC preparation and monitoring.

• Assist with delivery order pricing.

• Contract P&L forecasting.

• Contract specific deliverables.

• Project setup.

• Assist with month end close activities.

Qualifications

To Be Successful in this role you will have:

• HS GED required with 4 years experience.

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 0-2 years' experience with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• Excel and overall MS Office suite and a working knowledge of relevant software applications .

• Excellent organizational skills, able to handle multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines.

• Must be analytical, possess excellent communication and presentation skills and have the ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.

The Data Entry Operator will be responsible to type, proofread, and edit electronic documents to support daily production to meet Customer specifications within established quality standards and deadlines. Successful candidates can make significant contributions to the patent industry while working in the growing economy and beautiful surroundings of the Shenandoah Valley in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include :

• Correct OCR errors

• Transcribe data from source documents

• Verify entered data with source documents

• Apply composition codes and style rules

• Check for compliance with style guide rules

• Consistently meet quality requirements

• Consistently meet production deadlines

• Problem solve and escalate issues that may impact delivery of a quality, on-time product

• Participate in team meetings and projects

• This position may work with supervisors, peers, quality staff and others within the company to ensure deliverables meet expectations.

• This position may assist in training new employees, maintaining work instructions, and recommending changes for improvement

• This position typically reports to an Edit Team Supervisor

• Have technical expertise in one or more of the following technologies: Engines, Aeronautical, marine and land vehicles, buildings, bridges, roadways, vehicle drive trains, weapons, earth working.

Serco Inc. is a federal government contractor that provides air traffic control services at Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Contract Towers (FCTs), Non-Federal Contract Towers (NFCT), Remote Air Traffic Control Towers and Ramp Control Services in 11 western states.

Air Traffic Control Specialists (ATCS) control air traffic on and within the vicinity of the airport according to established procedures and policies to prevent collisions and minimize delays arising from traffic congestion. They are responsible for the safe, orderly and expeditious movement of air traffic through the nation's airspace. ATCS duties include:

• Answering radio calls from arriving and departing aircraft.

• Issuing landing/takeoff instructions.

• Issuing information such as runway to use, wind velocity and direction, visibility, taxiing instructions, and pertinent data on other aircraft operating in vicinity.

• Issuing air traffic clearances.

• Providing advice based on their own observations and information from the National Weather - Service, IFR control facilities, flight service stations, pilots, and other sources.

• Taking and disseminating weather observations at Limited Aviation Weather Reporting Station (LAWRS) or Supplemental Aviation Weather Reporting Station (SAWRS) facilities.

• Transferring control to receiving facilities when aircraft leave their airspace and receiving control of aircraft coming into their airspace.

• Operating various types of equipment such as: radios, telephones, interphones, computer systems, radar, recording systems, weather equipment, light guns, airport/runway lighting systems, and backup equipment.

• Alerting airport emergency crews and other designated personnel when aircraft are having flight difficulties.

• Coordinating with and issuing instructions to airport vehicles and personnel.

• Maintaining and disseminating records of daily operations

• Other duties as assigned

Serco IP Services ,part of Serco North America, is seeking a Data Entry Operator to process patent documents for the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Documents are required to adhere to a detailed technical style guide to prepare them for publication.

The Data Entry Operator will be responsible to type, proofread, and edit electronic documents to support daily production to meet Customer specifications within established quality standards and deadlines. Successful candidates can make significant contributions to the patent industry while working in the growing economy and beautiful surroundings of the Shenandoah Valley in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include :

• Correct OCR errors

• Transcribe data from source documents

• Verify entered data with source documents

• Apply composition codes and style rules

• Check for compliance with style guide rules

• Consistently meet quality requirements

• Consistently meet production deadlines

• Problem solve and escalate issues that may impact delivery of a quality, on-time product

• Participate in team meetings and projects

• This position may work with supervisors, peers, quality staff and others within the company to ensure deliverables meet expectations.

• This position may assist in training new employees, maintaining work instructions, and recommending changes for improvement

• This position typically reports to an Edit Team Supervisor

This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain your active Secret level DoD clearance.

The ideal candidate will assist in the development of the Autonomous Maritime System (AMS) program budgets, schedules and work priorities. Plans, implements, and tracks the progress of unmanned air, surface, and undersea vehicle (UxV) projects. Perform with limited supervision/direction and regularly exercise discretionary and decision-making authority. This position supports a broad portfolio of AMS programs in the Ventura, CA/Port Hueneme geographic region.

The PM will be responsible for managing unmanned air, surface, and undersea vehicles (UxV) projects and related task orders for customers with revenue ranging from $3M - $100M. You will have budgetary responsibilities to include creating budgets, schedules, and technical performance requirements for UxV projects including conducting cost management through continual cost control and review. You will work requirements and operational fulfilment of new sensors, payloads, software, and hardware on UxV projects during various life-cycle stages including prototyping, and RDT&E.

In this role, you will be:

• Planning, leading, and coordinating technical engineering and sustainment activities of project staff, engineers, testers, vessel operators, and support staff

• Conducting program/project briefings and participating in technical exchange meetings with internal/external stakeholders of various UxV projects.

• Providing expertise and work efforts that are focused on analyzing customer's business goals, objectives, needs and the general business environment to ensure the success of the project and swift resolution of issues.

• Ensuring project work activities conform to contractual agreements and deliverables meet/exceed customer expectations.

• Providing support to areas such as product implementation, enhancement, integration, or audits.

• Responsible for oversight of project resources and operations to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness.

• Supporting Business Development opportunities and proposal writing/reviewing activities

• Performing risk analysis, mitigation, and reporting.

• Establishing project work objectives and allocate resources.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Managment, Business Administration or a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years managing project(s) and related task orders for customer(s) with revenue ranging

• An active Secret level DoD clearance is required prior to employment.

• 10+ years of relevant experience supporting DoD/USCG programs

• Substantial experience managing programs of similar scale (or larger) to this effort

• Experience with in-service DoD/USCG ship or weapon systems

• Experience with Control Systems and Autonomy

• PMP Certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

The Lead Engineer will be responsible for engineering plans; technology maturation strategies; mission analyses; systems engineering and integration reviews; technical risk mitigation; joint requirements development; and inform acquisition milestones and modernization decisions.You will work with a team of technicians, and engineers supporting RDT&E projects conducting test to including electrical, mechanical and software engineering, for system development, man and machine interface development, test and evaluation, requirements capture, production, maintenance, and system support.

You will be part of a team responsible for highly consequential engagements with stakeholders impacting national security and the defense capabilities of the United States. You will work closely with customers and other Serco teams to deliver quality solutions recognized by DoD and industry as outstanding contributions in engineering program and risk management across the Defense enterprise.

In this role, you will:

• Developing System Engineering plans for integration and R&D. Provide USV, autonomous systems, and Maritime Subject Matter

• Expertise for R&Dand OT&E.

• Analyze unmanned vehicle (USV) system designs, specifications, and technical data to determine whether various systems are ready for developmental/operational testing.

• Analyze results from USV systems and capabilities under test/evaluation to ensure performance successfully meets engineering specifications and operational requirements.

• Investigate system failures, evaluate corrective alternatives and implement actions to ensure USV systems maintain safe, effective operations and minimize/eliminate potential future system failures.

• Develop technical/logistics documentation in support of USV operations, training and sustainment, including user manuals, training guides and system maintenance manuals.

• Develop concept of operations (CONOPS) and standard operating procedures (SOP) documentation for USV operations, tactics, doctrine and vehicle deployment

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering disciplate with a minimum of 5 years of System Engineering experience.

• An active Secret clearance is required prior to employment.

• 10+ years of relevant experience supporting DoD/USCG programs

• Substantial experience providing technical leadership and technical management of engineering personnel

• Experience with Ship and Ship Systems in-service engineering activities

• Experience with Control Systems and Autonomy

• Experience working with DoD/USCG technical communities.

Additional desired experience and skills:

• Experience working with U. S. Navy Ocean Systems engineering and safety procedures

• Experience and working knowledge of U. S. Navy Weapon Systems, including compliance standards and applicable regulations

The ideal candidate will assist in the development of the Autonomous Maritime System (AMS) program budgets, schedules and work priorities. Plans, implements, and tracks the progress of unmanned air, surface, and undersea vehicle (UxV) projects. Perform with limited supervision/direction and regularly exercise discretionary and decision-making authority. This position supports a broad portfolio of AMS programs in the Ventura, CA/Port Hueneme geographic region.

The PM will be responsible for managing unmanned air, surface, and undersea vehicles (UxV) projects and related task orders for customers with revenue ranging from $3M - $100M. You will have budgetary responsibilities to include creating budgets, schedules, and technical performance requirements for UxV projects including conducting cost management through continual cost control and review. You will work requirements and operational fulfilment of new sensors, payloads, software, and hardware on UxV projects during various life-cycle stages including prototyping, and RDT&E.

In this role, you will be:

• Planning, leading, and coordinating technical engineering and sustainment activities of project staff, engineers, testers, vessel operators, and support staff

• Conducting program/project briefings and participating in technical exchange meetings with internal/external stakeholders of various UxV projects.

• Providing expertise and work efforts that are focused on analyzing customer's business goals, objectives, needs and the general business environment to ensure the success of the project and swift resolution of issues.

• Ensuring project work activities conform to contractual agreements and deliverables meet/exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

You will use your technical writing experience to prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents.

• You will be responsible for the technical documentation of a wide variety of processes to include work instructions, standard operating procedures, status reports, program management review documents and governance documents as well as training materials.

• You will work in a small team environment that supports configuration management activities and documentation oversight functions in support of our US Navy customer.

• Strong planning and time management skills in order to meet customer deadlines;manage multiple contract deliverable requirements and submittals of recurring reports and statuses.

• Maintain document repository and document tracking system for procedures, proposals, CDRLS, and other program office documents.

• Self-motivated individual with ability to manage own responsibilities, and either work independently and/or within a group.

• During proposal suspense timelines, you will be required to work extended schedules to include long days and weekends to ensure the writing developments stay on schedule and co-authors are supported.

• Some travel may be required to attend in-person review sessions, attend BD and proposal training, and meet with other stakeholders within the organization.

Qualifications

To be successful in this roll, you will have:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5-7 years' of technical writing experience.

• In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 9 years applicable technical writing experience.

• Experience in consulting directly with military customers.

• Knowledge of government contracting environment and program reporting.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required; Proficiency in MS Project and Access is a plus.

• Must have an active SECRET level clearance. (U.S. Citizenship is required)
