Audacy Baltimore is looking for aDigital Sales Specialist with the drive and desire to help local businesses grow by utilizing our unique set of digital marketing products in combination with opportunities we uniquely offer to reach listeners and viewers through our powerful local Radio, Digital and NTR platforms.
Responsibilities
In this sales role, you will:
Generate online revenue through streaming, display and other digital properties.
Spend at least 50% of work time engaging in sales and solicitations outside of the office.
Responsible for exceeding sales budget and collection of sold accounts.
Maintain account lists while soliciting new business.
Prepare promotional plans, sales literature, and advertising proposals.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients by providing top quality service.
Investigate and resolve customer problems.
Communicate with other departments to assure quality service in placing orders.
Attend sales meetings and training sessions
Performs all other tasks perceived, assigned, and/or required that contribute to the smooth operation of the department and to the achievement of departmental and station goals.
Qualifications
High school graduate; college preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in online marketing and web-based applications is required; previous radio sales experience preferred.
Position requires basic knowledge of Google Workspace and excellent organizational/time management skills.
Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined, have a positive attitude and be an effective communicator.
A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if a personal vehicle is required, proof of insurance is required.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Prepare and deliver on-air broadcast.
Produce and record sports segments.
Gather, write, record, edit and deliver sports content inclusive of providing live coverage when breaking news occurs.
Interview sports figures.
Write scripts and ad-lib material for stories.
Development and research of potential stories.
Protect the station's FCC license.
Make station appearances as required.
Work with sales and promotions departments to develop sponsored sports opportunities.
Other duties as required by management.
Qualifications
Experience hosting a successful sports talk show. Position requires the ability to mix in live interviews with the best clips and interviews from existing station interviews and sound from around the country. Must have in-depth of knowledge sports teams, players and statistics with a contemporary sound and excellent on-air delivery. Knowledge of the broadcast area and station demographics is essential;
You must be a creative sports junkie and have a point of view.
Ability to work cooperatively in a broadcast team environment.
Ability to network and build a list of contacts for news and sports programming
Research show and news topics and stories
Understand how to book and create a compelling show/content
Ability to create and edit compelling original video content is a plus.
Social Media proficiency and ability to create web content
Ability to create and produce a professional podcast
Working knowledge of Adobe Audition
Ability to use web content management software

Participate on sales calls with their team of Audacy Account Executives
Consult local and regional businesses with Account Executives to understand their needs and aspirations so that tailored solutions can be designed, implemented and executed.
Responsible for assisting in selling, ensuring that campaigns are running or air as ordered, and timely paid for within 90 days for direct accounts and 120 days for agency accounts from the date of billing,
Provide feedback to the internal Digital Agency regarding opportunities to improve the overall product offering and general positioning of the company's product suite.
On-going consultation with clients regarding the performance of their purchased campaigns.
Help educate account executives on digital tools and opportunities.
Develop innovative solutions to meet clients' digital marketing needs.
Must be analytical, organized, solution minded, consultative and customer centric

Qualifications
Required:
Must have 2+ years of media-related experience selling digital platforms as well as previous sales management experience; prior media sales experience preferred.

Excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and the ability to meet deadlines are required.

Develop & oversee pricing, packaging and valuation for all outbound sponsorship offerings
Manages development & execution of division sales collateral
Create & monitor project strategy, timelines, and custom program P&L's
Assist SVP in developing revenue & packaging strategies around corporate tentpole events
Work with Activation Team to manage sponsor implementation and on-site execution
Provide oversight & guidance to Project Manager team who maintain division reports, project advancement and other administrative & fulfillment duties as assigned.
Assist local markets in sponsor inventory management & tracking
Manage incoming sponsor requests & communication with participating markets for national and local sponsorship opportunities
Manage multi market sponsor fulfillment workflow/communication Liaison to strategy/sales support & individual AEs for multi market event requests
Provide strategy support/guidance in developing effective multi market sponsorship programs (client-driven)
Assist in coordinating project-based calls for all related teams
Provide category/client specific leads/examples to markets
Develop sponsor category prospecting profiles
Assist in providing shared best practices/ideas/success stories
Attend client meetings and participate in sponsor presentation opportunities where appropriate
Participate in company sales meetings to present new or updated opportunities

SALES ADMINISTRATION MANAGER - Los Angeles
Audacy Los Angeles has an opening for a Sales Administration Manager (SAM). This is a cross functional position which will assist in bringing efficiencies to workflow and will support Audacy Los Angeles Sales Management team as well as the Corporate Revenue Management and Financial Analysis teams.
Responsibilities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Improve order workflow and efficiency by becoming a point on all sales order approvals. This will also include checking to ensure all the data points, priority codes and other aspects of the order are correct prior to approval.
Oversee management of our CRM Database (Salesforce) including sales training, troubleshooting, maintenance and reporting.
Assist the Revenue Management team on inventory management, rate card system, political rates, and other items as needed.
Work closely with other Sales Administration Managers (SAMA) across Audacy on sharing of best practices and ideas.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Research to assist in development of client marketing strategies.
Producing regular reports such as: returning/non-returning business, weekly sales and activity report, and diagnostic reports.
Aggregating data such as Miller Kaplan, Miller-Kaplan X-Ray, and Media Monitors.
Daily interaction with account executives and sales management, assisting in any way possible to free up time for sales to sell.
Potentially supporting a second market.
Other Sales Department support activities as needed.
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Strong technical and analytical skills, including excellent Excel skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills.
Detail oriented, solid time management skills and the ability to work independently in a deadline driven environment.
Experience with automated CRM programs, along with Wide Orbit or other traffic software experience is a plus.
Previous sales or radio sales experience is a plus.
Some travel may be required if an additional market is being supported by this role.

KYW Newsradio, Philadelphia's leading multimedia newsroom, is seeking an experienced, dynamic broadcast journalist to be a news anchor on a part-time basis. A qualified candidate must be news-savvy, full of fresh and relatable story ideas, willing to jump into the anchor chair at a moment's notice. She or he must be practiced and comfortable with conversational, compelling broadcast news writing and delivery. The ability to expertly ad-lib when the situation warrants is crucial. On-air experience and a working knowledge of the Philadelphia news environment are key. An audio demo must be included with the application.
Responsibilities
Write and deliver half-hour and hour-long newscasts
Assist the editor with the selection and production of stories
Operate the audio console during newscasts.
Qualifications
At least 3 years' experience in an on-air role at a medium- or large-market news station.
A conversational, engaging delivery with or without a script
Ability to interpret and simplify complex copy
Ability to update copy on the fly as news warrants.
Ability to develop and effectively pitch story ideas
Familiarity and experience covering news in the Philadelphia market
