Building Construction Products in Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking students currently enrolled in a four-year university, to work side by side with supply chain professionals at Caterpillar.

Interns are empowered with assignments that provide them with relevant work experience and significant opportunities for learning. Spring Co-Op Session: January 2024 - May 2024

Compensation and Benefits:

At Caterpillar, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account the following factors: the number of completed semester credit hours and whether the internship is considered an engineering, technical, or non-technical role. For Graduate level opportunities, the pay rate is determined by the type of degree you are pursuing (Master's or Doctorate) post receiving an undergraduate degree.

Intern Pay Range:

Undergraduate: $21.40 - $27.90 per hour

Graduate: $32.25 - $38.50 per hour

The total rewards package, beyond base salary includes:

Job Summary: This role primarily supports the Commercial consulting team with data analytics and data visualization.

Job Duties:

• Provide commercial opportunity, performance, pricing, merchandising and financial data and analysis to the commercial consultants on Services Growth opportunities.

• Provide data pulls, analytics and insights to support Commercial consultants towards performing -Unit of 1- Analysis for decisions on profitability thresholds for Services NPI projects - where needed.

• Support commercial consultants with data specific opportunity and financial (merchandising, OPACC) analysis for opportunities outside of the Services NPI process.

• Align with Cat Digital on logic validation, dashboard aesthetics consistency and data sources.

• Provide data analytics support to BIG team on ad hoc commercial analytics requests.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

• 5+ years of progressive responsibility related experience in Commercial, Marketing, Financial or Pricing roles.

The Electric Power Division has an exciting opportunity for an Electric Power Product Support Representative based out of the Peachtree City, GA district office. As an Electric Power Product Support Rep at Caterpillar, you will be Caterpillar's in-territory representative for Electric Power product problem management in the southeastern United States, and English-speaking islands in the Caribbean, to minimize the commercial impact of customer complaints related to products, applications, and maintenance requirements. • Represent Caterpillar, as required, during meetings with customers in matters related to Electric Power product support.

• Working with dealers in managing Product Improvement Programs cost effectively and within designated timeframes.

• Facilitating factory technical assistance to dealers as required

• Working with the Electric Power Global Accounts organization to support major data center customers.

• Working with Electric Power Sales, Aftermarket, and Dealer Services Division (DSD) field reps in support of mutual goals and initiatives, such as CVA growth and increasing the number of generator sets utilizing Cat Connect.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years of equivalent Caterpillar experience

• Technical understanding of Diesel and gas generator set operation and maintenance

• 3+ years of experience working with Caterpillar dealers

JOB SUMMARY: Supports various accounts receivable management efforts for Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation's (-CFSC-) Customer Solutions Unit of the North America Business Center (-NABC-). Job Summary: Assist Maintenance Technicians in repairing, installing, and maintaining equipment, building and grounds. Perform such tasks as directed by Team Lead, Manager or other authorized person, including, but not limited to, painting, cleaning, grass cutting, snow removal, yard work, having company vehicles maintained or repaired, performing errands, etc. Proceed on work assignments with a minimum of close supervision and direction to perform quality work.

Job Duties:

• Perform supervised work on facilities, equipment, systems, and machines, replacing defective parts.

• May remove dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines.

• Paints machines, equipment, or physical structures.

• Patches or replaces plaster or plasterboard and paints walls, ceilings, and floors.

• Assist Maintenance Technicians with maintenance, repair, installing, fabricating, adjusting, rebuilding, etc.

• Perform regular inspections and maintain records for fire prevention and extinguishing equipment, lifting equipment, etc.

• Using Maintenance vehicle, pick up and deliver materials, supplies and equipment.

• Perform janitorial duties

• May be assigned to other departments

• Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.

• Prepare conference or training rooms for meetings as required.

• Perform preventative maintenance as required.

• Recognize operating irregularities, safety hazards and notify proper personnel to correct

• Works safely at ALL times and complies with safety regulations regarding the use of protective equipment and devices.

• Performs other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed by Team Lead, Manager other authorized person.

• Must perform as a team member with the willingness and attitude to work with others to resolve problems. Must also maintain good working relationship with others within the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with mechanical methods and procedures is essential

• Must be able to demonstrate good troubleshooting and repair skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, have good communications skills and must be willing to do a variety of different jobs

• Team attitude is essential

• Weekend Shift is Friday - Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm

• Starting pay is $21.11/hr + $1.00 premium

Job Summary: This role primarily supports the Commercial consulting team with data analytics and data visualization.

Job Duties:

• Provide commercial opportunity, performance, pricing, merchandising and financial data and analysis to the commercial consultants on Services Growth opportunities.

• Provide data pulls, analytics and insights to support Commercial consultants towards performing -Unit of 1- Analysis for decisions on profitability thresholds for Services NPI projects - where needed.

• Support commercial consultants with data specific opportunity and financial (merchandising, OPACC) analysis for opportunities outside of the Services NPI process.

• Support Commercial consultants on data analysis on monthly presentations and the monthly sales variance barometer report.

• Own Commercial consulting portfolio for Wear parts and Filters/Fluids - including Services NPI support, Unit of 1 analysis development and profitability/commercials/ Sales variance insights development.

• Align with Cat Digital on logic validation, dashboard aesthetics consistency and data sources.

• Provide data analytics support to BIG team on ad hoc commercial analytics requests.

• Stay updated in the latest industry trends, and techniques in data science, ensuring the organization remains at cutting edge.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

• 5+ years of progressive responsibility related experience in Commercial, Marketing, Financial or Pricing roles.

• 3+ years of progressively responsibility related experience on data analytics technologies (SQL, Python, Snowflake, PowerBI, Tableau).

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Set up, operate and adjust automatic lathes to perform complex combinations of operations to tight tolerances on a variety of parts

• Set up, operate and adjust one or more numerically controlled drilling and boring machines where the feeds, speeds and cycle are fully controlled by encoded instructions. Machining programs, tool layouts and encoded instructions are usually provided

• Applying safe working methods

• Operates control station to monitor and control melting station

• Analyzes control signals

• Controls melting operations

• Detects deviations and initiates corrective action

• Sets up, operates and adjusts one or more numerically controlled drilling and boring machines (with or without milling capabilities) where the feeds, speeds and cycle are fully controlled by encoded instructions.
