Job Purpose: The Facilities Services Supervisor is responsible for campus housekeeping/janitorial services. This position is also the primary contact and facilitator for maintenance and repair of personal workspaces and common areas throughout the facility. This position will supervise 1-6 direct employees and direct multiple contractors responsible for performing facility services.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Creating and managing janitorial cleaning and beautification schedules for the campus. This includes contract ownership and work direction for janitorial services, carpet cleaning, floor scrubbing, window cleaning, pest control and similar services and direct supervision of Plant Engineering Laborers and in-house facility painters.

• Decisions made by the incumbent on projects will impact facility work environments, productivity, operating costs, and Caterpillar's image as perceived by customers, dealers, employees, and shareholders. The incumbent is the direct contact for office space maintenance. Incumbent works directly with security, maintenance, administrative assistants, outside vendors, IT, contractors, and project engineers.

• Challenges of this position include: quickly and correctly identifying problems, working with people and facilitating teamwork; clearly communicating project requirements and deliverables; reviewing and recommending approval of supplier invoices; preparing and issuing purchase orders and work tickets; creating on-going lists of unfinished work items, and follows-up ensuring items are completed on time to meet project deadlines, gaining input from team members; and monitoring team's achievement of project objectives, facilitating project completion and closeout.

• Management of personnel relocations and documentation of assigned desk locations.

• Support of all audio/visual equipment in conference rooms, offices and visitor centers including managing contracts and resources that support this work.

• Management and coordination of office furniture and desk accessory requests including budgeting and repair.

• Key replacements and lockset repair/replacement.

• Audio/visual troubleshooting, repair & replacement including data & power.

• Project management skills are required for small remodel and repair jobs. Likely projects include carpet repairs, flooring replacement and repairs, minor office area remodels, wall painting and repairs.

• Requires interpersonal skills and communications, also requires organizational and leadership skills with the ability to direct a diverse team of suppliers and specialized professionals. Incumbent must have the ability to grasp complex business processes, interpret facility needs and issues, assist in developing appropriate solutions, and effectively implement at the project and transactional levels.

• Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's level degree with 1 years of relevant work experience, OR Associates level degree with 3 years relevant work experience, OR no degree with 5 years relevant work experience.

• Understand of shop operations and maintenance procedures.

• Familiar with company policies and procedures with a strong department background.

• Able to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.

• Effective working and communicating with various company and supplier personnel, business managers and well as site leadership.

• Ability to communicate and have basic knowledge of functions performed by the skilled-trades personnel.

About the role:

Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently has an opening for a Manufacturing Engineer III position located in the Franklin, IN facility . This position will have an opportunity to provide the technical expertise necessary to support, design, develop, and implement manufacturing systems and processes, consisting of complex manufacturing operations and sophisticated manufacturing machines.

What you will be doing:

• Developing, analyzing, and managing Manufacturing/machining /Assembly Projects

• Lead new technology introduction including replacing current machining process & developing new machining processes

• Working with multiple departments to ensure material flow, material availability, tooling and quality processes are implemented for successful NPI and engineering change management

• Training new processors and developing training programs and documentation for Processors and Assemblers

• Leading problem solving activities to address operational issues including: ergonomic/safety, efficiency improvements, process bottlenecks, quality concerts

• Working with internal and external suppliers to develop and manage projects to ensure efficient and cost-effective systems and processes to produce quality products

• Providing manufacturing technical support in process control and internal certification

• Coordinating the purchase and application of machine tools, controls, and related equipment corporate wide to ensure the latest technology is being used to increase efficiency and economy of operations

• Designing complex or intricate jigs and fixtures

• Designing lifting devices and assembly aids

• Manage manufacturing floor layout to maximize efficiency and flow

• Providing technical support, machine integration, and programming changes to PLC Logic Controllers, and/or CNC machines

• 3+ years manufacturing related work experience in Machining processes

Job Summary:

The Electric Power Division has an exciting opportunity as a Production Support Specialist position.You will work in an environment that supports excellence. You will lead your team in effort to support continuous improvement. You will also perform Very Early Hour Reliability (VEHR) testing, as well as conduct Vital 5 quality audits on component parts.

• Produce and deliver the Production Issued drawings to include -As-Builts- and -QC Copy- with the appropriate water marks in a timely manner to the Operations Team

As an Inventory Coordinator at Caterpillar, you will perform all functions as a warehouse associate along with the functions necessary to reconcile all inventory and receiving grief, including on-hand overages and underages, supplier discrepancies, location grief, and receipt grief. You will also perform systematic moves for inventory.

Openings are on 1st Shift.

Starting Pay rate is $19.00/hour

First Shift: Monday - Friday from 6:30am to 2:30pm

JOB DUTIES:

• Assigned to specialized equipment: i.e. Reach Trucks, Order Pickers

• Consistently meet equipment-specific efficiency targets

• Utilizing and inspecting heavy equipment including sit down fork truck, pallet jack and overhead hoists

• Perform material handling and warehousing functions, Order filling, processing, storing/ picking of parts, materials, equipment and supplies

• Facility rearrangement to facilitate receipts of additional material.

• Work closely with supervisor and Team Leads to work various location and inventory discrepancies.

• Perform random and scheduled inventory and receipt audits as directed.

• Accountable for training employees on any process.

• Must be able to work independently while promoting cooperative team relationships in day-to-day support of the facility and client's inventory needs.

• Perform various reconciliation functions relating to inventory control and receipt accuracy of Caterpillar on-hand material, supplier discrepancies and shipment errors.

This position will have increased quality checks and decision points with operators being required to select correct programming and follow basic tool setting procedures.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

This position encompasses the audit of all engines during various stages of the build process. The main responsibilities include auditing engines for compliance to the appropriate documentation; accurately recording all engine non-conformances in the AQE system and communicating found engine non-conformances to the appropriate person for repair. Job duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Plan, layout and install specifications for all types of piping (hydraulic, air, steam, grease, etc.).

• Plan, layout and install from complete or incomplete engineering specifications, schematics, drawings and/or sketches, including measuring pipe lengths, location of fittings, etc.

• Clean piece for assembly and use sealing materials on all fittings and joints as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience with thread dies, portable drillings and sawing tools, screwdrivers, pipe wrenches, chisels, and other hand tools, jib and overhead cranes, etc.

• Previous experience working with steel, copper pipes, tubing, elbows, tees, couplings, unions, fittings, grease, oil, coolant, other miscellaneous hardware, gauges, etc.

• Working knowledge of High, medium and low pressure hydraulic and automated lube systems.

• Ability to read drawings.

Material Handlers pick and kit materials, communicate / respond with material movement to and from both production areas and outside locations in a safe and expeditious manner and to accurately document material movement in support of our heavy machinery production teams.

Caterpillar's Energy & Transportation Purchasing division has an opening for a Supply Chain Performance Engineer . This position performs work on project teams involving material suppliers and business division Supply Chain personnel to increase supplier capability and proactively work future capacity gaps.

JOB DUTIES:

• Work with the Supply Chain Performance Manager to deploy strategic assurance of supply initiatives and take a network-wide view of supply chain planning processes and tools.

• Review and confirm accuracy of demand planning signals used within supplier capacity (RCCP Rough Cut Capacity Plan) assessments, conduct/validate/manage/track assessments, assess robustness of action items identified in assessments, and quantify the impact on incremental production based on completed actions.

• Drive collaboration and communications across multiple functions, including but not limited to category managers, buyers, supply chain performance engineers, supplier development engineers.

• Participates in lean events and works collaboratively with suppliers and multiple business division functions to address and resolve supplier issues using root cause and corrective action (RCCA).

Some Travel Required (Up to 25% working time)

Basic Qualifications:

• College or university degree related to Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience, is required.

• Solid supply chain planning, demand and orders, logistics and manufacturing knowledge

• Working knowledge of Network Planning & Execution, Capacity Collaboration, PowerBI

• High proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel

• Experience in Global Purchasing, Material Requirements, Manufacturing or Supply Chain / Logistics is desired.

• Knowledge and understanding of 6 Sigma project management and Lean supply chain principles

• APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification highly desired.

As an Inventory Record Coordinator, you will research and analyze facility claims. You will also coordinate the efforts of employees involved in making stock record adjustments, investigate and analyze stock record adjustments, determine the need for stock record audits and perform associated duties.

Job Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Creates and conducts training for hourly associates, salary and support personnel, and Management. Trains new employees in daily job routines and instructs employees in adjustment procedures

• Assists employees in resolving the more complex job-related problems encountered daily and coordinates resolution with Inventory control, Operations, and other Parts Departments.

• Prepares journal entry data, investigates significant variances and contacts others to clarify, verify or resolve errors in information. to research, analyze, and record adjustments for internal and external claims and other job functions relating to quality.

• Prepares journal entry reflecting increase or decrease of inventory quantities and submits to Corporate Records Accuracy Management for review.Answers inquiries and provides data related to journal entry information.

• Reviews manually prepared or mechanically generated stock record adjustment documents for accuracy and completeness.

• Prepares monthly reports and for approval and journal entry removals which impact facility and network metrics.

• Analyzes trends and determines record adjustments needing revision. Coordinates stock record counts with other facilities and ensures adjustments have been made when errors have been detected.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• 2+ years prior job experience in Availability & Inventory Management, Transportation & Engineering or Customer Services, storeroom and/or manufacturing.

Description

When you are a Logistics Support at Caterpillar, you will be under limited direction and perform a variety of logistic support activities in the areas of logistics planning, materials planning, packaging analysis, or order analysis and other duties as assigned. Additional job responsibilities include:

• Assist NPI and current production programs related to logistics functions

• Plan for supplier material deliveries, track information on suppliers including replenishment schedules, and monitor packaging quantities and usage.

• Analyze inventory reports and determine the quantity and order date for materials needed to meet the master production schedule.

• Initiate purchase requisitions for indirect materials as appropriate.

• Create and review procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.

• Use of multiple Caterpillar information systems to track and plan for material, inventory, and shipping.

• May prepare receiving report and note record shortages and damaged materials. Prepares and/or assembles required shipping documents.

• Investigate and resolve receiving or order discrepancies and notify appropriate personnel of results or required actions.

• Analyze product workflow and develops logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.

• May rotate to various positions within the Job Function area to perform related activities.

• Follow and utilize Lean Manufacturing and CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work.

Basic Qualifications

• 2 Year Degree or equivalent (Current enrollment in an accredited 4-year college degree program at a junior level status is considered equivalent to a 2-year degree.) OR 3-5 years of related experience in Materials or Logistics Operations

• Advanced computer skills

• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods

• Ability to perform repetitive operations

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

JOB DUTIES:

The Sr. Project Manager is accountable for ensuring successful completion of projects, on-time, within budget, and error-free. The principal responsibility of the Sr. Project Manager is to manage the planning and execution of project team members. The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for managing the project charter, communications, metrics, reporting, and the overall project plan and budget.

• Support various project teams and obtain/provide a variety of information starting at concept stage and continuing through prototype, pilot, implementation and follow-up stages of various projects
