Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Contract Specialist in the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound, FLC-PS Regional Contracting Department of NAVSUP FLC PUGET SOUND. Responsibilities You will serve as a Contracting Officer (within warrant limitations). You will conduct pre-negotiation conferences with management and technical personnel, and negotiate prices, terms and conditions, contract modifications, and settlements in the pre-award and post-award without prior higher level review. You will be responsible for developing common, commercial and noncommercial approaches to the acquisition of supplies and services. You will manage the contracting function so as to ensure that it is performed in accordance with the Federal, DoD, and DON acquisition-related directives, policies, and procedures, and internal acquisition guidelines. Summary You will serve as a Wood Worker of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO. Responsibilities You will prepare containers with appropriate blocking, bracing for shipment of both general cargo and hazardous materials such as flammables, caustics, and corrosives. You will construct a full range of standard and nonstandard containers requiring complex bracing such as assemblies, aircraft parts, radar antennas, engines, and calibrated equipment. You will use/maintain a variety of hand tools, machinery /mechanized equipment while performing duties associated with this position such as wood working machinery, band saws, drill presses, generators, drills, screw/nail guns and more. Summary You will serve as a Regional Inventory Accuracy systems analyst of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR PUGET SOUND. Responsibilities You will evaluate reporting policy, practices, processes, procedures, and systems associated with accountability and reporting to provide a comprehensive approach to improving inventory accuracy. You will Perform systems analysis of complex programs and major problems associated with supply and inventory management systems. You will maintain inventory accuracy objectives and identifies and resolves program problems. You will participate in operational reviews and provide technical guidance in supporting areas of expertise such as failed IDOCs, open SIT, CT, CAV, URBs, or inventory disconnects. You will review and analyze performance reports from outside entities. You will conduct independent analysis to evaluate effectiveness of inventory programs, policies, methods, and procedures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate one year of Supply Systems Analyst experience at the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying extensive knowledge of specialized methods and techniques to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of one or more areas of supply and financial operations or management programs and knowledge of a broad range of supply and financial program relationships. Specialized experience must include most or all of the following: 1)An understanding of the importance of supply, inventory, and financial compliancy for viable auditability; 2) Expert knowledge and the ability to detect and correct error situations within ERP, such as failed IDOCs, open SIT, CAV and URB discrepancies; 3)Ability to identify and react to related supply, inventory, and financial implications; 4) Evaluating reporting policy, practices, processes, procedures, and systems associated with accountability and reporting to provide a comprehensive approach to improving inventory accuracy; 5) Performing systems analysis of complex programs and major problems associated with supply and inventory management systems; and 6) Maintaining inventory accuracy objectives and identifying and resolving program problems. Summary You will serve as a Equipment Specialist in the Advanced Traceability and Control (ATAC) Division, within the Industrial Support Department of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK. Responsibilities You will have in-depth knowledge of Aviation, Shipboard and Ground support related to equipment. You will assist in the training and the individual development of lower grade employees. You will provide technical assistance and advice relative to the identification, disposition, repair, alteration etc. of DLR materials. You will detect errors in technical manuals, parts lists, stock lists, software programs and master cross-reference lists, and alert cognizant authority of the existence of such discrepancies. You will have knowledge of handling classified material. You will have knowledge of Electronic Retrograde Management System (ERMS). You will have knowledge of various manuals, catalogs, parts and stock lists, material identification software programs to aid in identifying parts. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing technical/in-depth assistance and advice relative to the identification, disposition, repair, alteration of Depot Level Repairable (DLR) material. I have experience visually inspecting equipment and/or material to determine its general category and condition and establishing a specific resolution as to its complete identification. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Developing item descriptions when required and assigning a local stock number for local disposal action;2) Detecting errors in technical manuals, parts lists, stock lists, software programs and master cross-reference lists, and alerting cognizant authority of the existence of such discrepancies; 3) Packing, wrapping, nailing-up or securing easy to pack items using established packing procedures; 4) Operating material handling equipment for movement of material up to 8,000 lbs. and 5) Assisting in the training and the individual development of lower grade employees.
