POSITION SUMMARY

The Tool Maker I is responsible for constructing, altering, and/or repairing tools and fixtures, machining special pump components, and planning and performing bench work and required machine operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Maintains a list and storage location of stocked hardware* Maintains the raw material rack/bin storage of shapes and plates* Ensures work requests are completed on or before the due date* Communicates job status via project status board* Maintains general housekeeping standards* Performs daily preventive maintenance, where applicable* Modifies fixtures per engineering request* Inspects fixtures and make repairs as necessary * Fits and assembles parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools, using machine tools and hand tools.* Visualizes and computes dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of assemblies, based on specifications.* Selects metals to be used from a range of metals and alloys, based on properties such as hardness and heat tolerance.* Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators.* Sets up and operate drill presses to drill and tap holes in parts for assembly.* Cuts, shapes, and trims blanks or blocks to specified lengths or shapes, using power saws, power shears, rules, and hand tools.

- Match company purchase invoices with vendor's invoices.

- Monitors costs charged by vendor and compares to the cost entered on purchase order (invoice) to discover potential billing errors.

- Code and input miscellaneous invoices (i.e. expense reports, services, pre-paids, etc.) after obtaining authorized signature.

- Generates and inspects check payment advice reports, pulls appropriate open invoices, generates checks and prepares for signature by General Mgr. & Accounting Supervisor

- Generates and inspects wire transfer payment advice reports, pulls appropriate open invoices, generates wire transfer payment and forwards to Accounting Supervisor for wire transfer processing.

- Stuffs and mails paid vendor invoices.

- Files purchase invoices, open and paid vendor invoices.

- Analyzes invoices to determine taxability status.

POSITION SUMMARY

Works as a commodity manager for assigned commodities, creating and executing commodity strategies. Responsible for purchasing a variety of types of parts, managing simple and complex purchase requests, RFQs, price and contract term negotiations and sourcing decisions. POSITION SUMMARYProvide backup for daily team tasks when needed. Assists the Product Manager with priorities for customers, daily technical communication, perpetuation of pump quoting and various pump projects. Fills in for Product Manager at internal customer events on occasion. ____________

- Provides technical support for order changes according to customer needs- Supports Product Manager with product updates and standardization (manuals, IBIS docs, etc)- Maintains customer request list for projects and new offering creation- Leads sales team generated PIs through completion- Manages and oversees project orders and process- Collaborates and attends meeting with sales companies to understand upcoming forecast and markets - Collaborates with other internal teams and staff to place and expedite orders - Enters customer orders per Customer Contract Review Procedure and work instructions - Reads and analyzes technical specifications to determine additional document requirements- Maintains, files, and organizes all customer contract files for future reference- Maintains organized electronic files of sales orders, invoices and shipment documentation for multiple customers- Responds to orders received from customers, acknowledges orders, follows up on any order discrepancies and does order maintenance- Generates invoices for billing pumps and spare parts sold, freight costs and other miscellaneous services- Processes weekly, monthly, and year end assignments per work instructions, i.e.- backorder reports, billing, and closing projects- Makes shipping arrangements with freight forwarders to deliver orders to customers via domestic and foreign shipments and prepares customs documents to include export declarations, customs invoices and bills of lading - Tracks order status and alerts customers of any potential delays - Schedules pump orders based on our current offerings on the published lead time sheet- Maintains spreadsheets to track performance for tasks and activities that support business key performance indicators (KPIs)

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required Associate's Degree (two-year college or technical school): Preferred

Experience: 2 plus years in a product role and/or experience in electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, equipment installation, or field service: RequiredCustomer service experience: Preferred

Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) - intermediate/ advanced skills (V lookup/ Pivot Tables): Required Experience with enterprise resource planning software (ERP) - LN, or Customer Relationship Management (CRM), or performance tracking software.

Other Requirements: May have some domestic travel for training

The Warehouseman II is responsible for movement of material to and from stock locations, unloading purchased material, and performing cycle counts when required.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance- Custodian is responsible for performing general labor duties. This includes inside facility, outside facility, and roof tops. Maintenance-Custodian must make minor facility repairs for electrical, plumbing and landscaping, as well as driving company truck to pick up supplies. Maintenance Custodian will perform all preventative maintenance on facility and equipment per schedule. Must be able to set/unset security to building.
