Job Summary
Dominion Energy Ohio is looking for a Gas Projects Manager to join our team in Akron, OH. This role provides management, planning, and direction for Gas Delivery projects and/or programs in distribution construction and maintenance, may include cost and resource management, sales functions, installation, technical, construction or engineering leadership. Projects typically consist of proactive replacement of aging infrastructure within the Pipeline Infrastructure Replacement (PIR) program and may supports past construction projects.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Prepare and submit bid and proposals
Ensures effective engineering design of projects and adherence to company policy and engineering standards, safe work practices and compliance.
Monitor contractor or subcontractor management and review bid project
Responsible for communication with internal and external customers.
Providing overall direction and management of key pipeline construction or maintenance projects.
Managing total project lifecycle from conception to final completion, including project scope, budget, status updates and deliverables.
Defining and managing project resource requirements.
Communicating with internal/external customers to obtain and address, requirements and expectations for projects.
Performing preliminary estimates for the customer.
Providing direction and oversight to scoping teams to determine constructability, cost effective, and efficient solutions to meet customer (internal or external) needs.
Providing oversight for and ensuring effective engineering designs of projects, including adherence to company SOPs, engineering/construction processes, proper pipeline material determination/selection, pressure testing, Horizontal Direction Drilling, Auger Boring, Bridge installations and applicable industry standards.
Reviewing and approving project expenditures.
Providing oversight, monitoring and managing construction contractors and subcontractors ensuring projects meet required scope, schedule, and budget.
Ensuring coordination between project functional groups, including, but not limited to Design, Construction, Operations and Planning.
Ensuring completion of proper project documentation/reporting.
Leading correspondence and compliance with Dominion Energy Supply Chain Management processes for external vendor/contractor bids.
Supporting closeout and post-construction activities. Ensuring project closings are done in a timely fashion in accordance with Company policy.
Ensuring project billing is completed and contractor invoices are submitted accurately and completely for payment.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Minimum Requirements (Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications):
Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of directly related experience OR
Associates Degree and 9+ years of directly related experience OR
High school diploma and 11+ years of directly related experience OR
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of natural gas distribution field facilities, resource management, construction, design, union contract, and cost pricing analysis.
Skills: teaming; leadership; verbal and written communication; negotiation; effective project management; budgeting and cost control; planning and scheduling; organization; sales.
Abilities: resource management; direct human resources toward common goal; multi-task.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience in project management of gas pipeline projects or civil infrastructure construction
Direct experience in managing project scope, schedule, and budget.
Proven communication, leadership/supervision, and negotiation skills.
Pipeline (or civil infrastructure construction) design and construction experience.
Proven ability to establish and monitor project budgets, scope, and schedules.
Proven ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff.
Proven ability to direct project resources, including contractors, toward a common goal.
Proven ability to represent the project and the company in public forums.
Experience in contract negotiations, contract writing and administration.
Proven decision-making skills.
Strong planning and organization skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Job Summary
Responsible for managing Electric Material Operations Field Supervisors within the Dominion Energy Electric Distribution Service Territory. This role is a second level supervisory position. Responsible for leading and supporting field supervisors and the storeroom organization across Dominion Energy's electric field offices supporting Dominion hourly and contractor resources. Focus on implementation of tactical plans and operational tasks, work and personnel management of subordinates, drive efficiency and effectiveness of operating processes and internal systems.
Monitors local office storeroom operations and system wide impacts. Responsible for successful compliance of inventory in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley Controls, DE Inventory procedures and Electric Distribution Business Unit Inventory Requirements. Ensures safe work practices, an accident-free work environment and quality workmanship. Supports relationships with key stakeholders including but not limited to: Construction, Operations, Safety, Local 50, Design, Project Management, Contractor Resources Management, Audit Services, Inventory Compliance Team, Integrated Supplier(s) and Supply Chain Management. Ensures proper training and guidance of current and new field supervisors. Supports logistics and coordination of materials during major storm restoration events. Coordination of Materials between storeroom regions to address material availability constraints or material surplus, may be required at times. Reviews storeroom and local yard layouts and offers suggestions and improvements on how to maximize inventory and project material storage space. Reviews resource levels compared to workload and offer solutions due to upcoming work and develops strategies for success. Review current processes and procedures and offers improvement or changes based on developing business needs. Supports local office incident investigations. Provides updates to Distribution Services Leadership as required or needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills abilities, and experience required for entry into this job include the following:
8 + years of warehousing/logistics, materials management, and/or sourcing experience is required; 3+ years formal leadership experience
Leadership experience with Union represented employees is preferred
In-Depth knowledge of materials management, warehousing, logistics theory, and logistic applications. SAP experience is preferred
Experience in navigating work management systems - such as DE's Work Manager
In-Depth knowledge of materials policies, processes, and systems
Full knowledge of material accounting practices
In-depth Knowledge of material planning techniques
Basic Knowledge of contracts and procurement strategies
Strong Negotiation Skills
Strong Oral and Written Communication skills - including presentation skills and ability to discuss topics at various levels within the organization

Alternative: In lieu of BA/BS may substitute associate degree and 2+ years of directly related experience or high school and 4+ years of directly related experience that demonstrates knowledge of relevant fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.

This role requires an individual with technical understanding of generation, transmission, and distribution facilities and the ability to simultaneously manage a large workload while working with a wide variety of stakeholders to achieve successful completion of Company goals. Consistently manages stakeholder expectations, schedules, budgets, and multiple work scopes eciently with high level of organization and attention to detail. Project Managers are comfortable working with developers, engineers, local ocials, real estate professionals, contractors, and other external team members from initial site review through EPC contract negotiation to nal permitting, construction, commissioning, and post-COD activities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee PJM, Virginia State, and other utility interconnection queue submittals for acquired, self-developed and uprate projects.
- Advance project queue positions through the appropriate queue processes in a manner that supports Company goals related to schedule and budget.
- Lead interconnection diligence eorts for acquisition and PPA projects.
- Provide interconnection status updates for all projects during construction.
- Assume functional responsibility for payment of all interconnection invoicing
- Provide limited technical support related to metering and operational requirements for generation projects.
- Work with technical and non-technical business owners/partners to overcome obstacles and deliver results
- Manage projects and eectively inuence, negotiate, and communicate with business partners including developers, real estate, construction managers, architects & engineers, and EPC Contractors

Job Summary

This role performs maintenance, installation and corrective activities on system protection devices, control circuits, metering, and communication equipment (both data and PLC) within Dominion's Transmission, Distribution and Generating network. This position ensures that appropriate compliance maintenance activities, applications, policies, and associated documentation are managed and maintained in support of ETFO's Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) and Protective Relay and Control (PRC) programs
Maintenance activities include instruction/guidance in routine cleaning, calibration and functional operational testing of all primary electro-mechanical and microprocessor protection applications
Assists during routine testing and functional verification of all communications equipment including data, fiber optic, and power line carrier
Assists during functional operational testing of substation auxiliary equipment and verification of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) data systems that provide the operating centers with real time operating and alarm information
Assists with protective relay and control equipment repairs
Installation activities include assisting Lead/Senior technicians' functional verification of all primary and secondary equipment as designed by Dominion and its manufacturers
Corrective activities include assisting Lead/Senior technicians in analyzing alarms, identifying potential problems, and developing safe and effective basic corrective action investigation plans
Activities regarding potential cyber issues related to protection and control devices require that security assessments be performed to verify the integrity of cyber security control at substation locations
Successful candidate must be able to report to service territory within 1 hour

This is the first or second level of a three-level series which provides technical support for continuous emissions measurement systems (CEMS) configuration and support to ensure or improve compliance with all air quality regulations at a power generation facility (e.g. coal fired plant). Performs basic and/or routine assignments and tasks under the direct supervision of the supervisor or work leader, which are designed to develop and enhance technical or engineering expertise, knowledge and abilities for progression to the next level. Under the supervision of a supervisor or work leader, this entry level position applies information gathered from quality assurance and environmental tests, performs engineering or technical calculations, analysis, research and design to further develop professional knowledge and abilities and to provide technical support in designated company area or specialized function. This may include analyzing and evaluating systems, equipment, regulatory requirements, and programs for assurance that they are modified, operated, and maintained in accordance with Company policy, and regulatory requirements. Prepares the Continuous Monitoring System (CMS) audit report for submission. With guidance, applies basic knowledge of environmental regulations to conduct the annual span and range evaluation of CEMS, calculates the annual capacity factors for peaking unit determination, reviews data for errors, and loads data into the Emissions Collection and Monitoring Plan System (ECMPS) for management's review, prior to submission to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Job Summary
This role manages the ET (Electric Transmission) Power System Facility Rating engineering team to provide system analysis of the electric transmission network grid through modeling, simulations, and other engineering techniques. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining documentation for meeting PJM, FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) Order 1000, NERC (North American Reliability Corporation) Reliability Standards, and Electric Transmission Planning Criteria and routines. A primary focus includes core system facility rating engineering requirements, data mining for transmission lines and substation conductor and equipment ratings, and data analytics on historical data to validate solution proposals for rating updates and for projects in the present or future Regional Transmission Expansion Plan.
As the Supervisor of the ET Facility Ratings Engineering Team, you would be expected to lead ET Planning through the following:
Analysis to validate power system facility ratings for all Electric Transmission conductors and power equipment energized and planned for energization in the Electric Transmission projects approved in PJM's Regional Transmission Expansion Planning Process (RTEPP) load connection projects.
Analysis to validate power system facility ratings for all Electric Transmission conductors and power equipment planned for energization in the Electric Transmission projects approved in support of generation interconnection projects.
Maintenance and process improvements for the facility ratings practices and databases needed to properly compile and coordinate workflows and manage ratings for all Electric Transmission conductors and power equipment in substations and in transmission line right-of-way.
This team has the lead in meeting our transmission ownership's methodology NERC Facility Design and Maintenance (example: Mandatory Standard FAC-008, Facility Ratings).
Developing and maintaining power system facility rating standards for use during detail design and engineering evolutions.
Leading standardization and planning execution towards the development of facility rating standards for conductors and equipment in power system modeling routines.
Collaborate with many internal Dominion ET departments (the SOC (System Operations Center), System Protection engineering, Substation Engineering, Transmission Lines Engineering, Engineering Standards, etc.), to ensure ET Planning Criteria, Power System Conductor and Equipment Rating Standards.
Facilitate collaborations and partnerships with universities, companies, engineering associations and government agencies.
Representing the Transmission Owner with PJM, SERC, and other external groups needing input and understanding of the Electric Transmission conductor and equipment ratings methodologies.
Leading/coordinating the special innovation modernization projects and initiatives needed to enhance ET Planning routines, standards, and processes to include tools and interfaces with partner groups.

Job Summary
Dominion Energy South Carolina (DESC) is seeking students to enroll in our 2024 engineering cooperative education programs for positions in Electric Operations and non-nuclear Power Generation. The programs' goals are to attract, develop, and retain high-potential college students. Upon graduation and successful completion of our program, they may be eligible for consideration for a full-time position in one of DESC's core businesses.
Selected student(s) will gain utility knowledge in the following areas based upon the student's area of interest and business need including but not limited to:
Electric Operations track:
Students will have the opportunity to gain knowledge in the field of electric operations through the transportation of electricity from the power plant to the end user via transmission lines, substations, distribution systems, and metering which will prepare them, upon graduation, to compete for entry-level, professional positions in the utility industry.
Planning and designing electric transmission and distribution systems
Preparing detailed drawings
Supporting field operations in performing a variety of equipment and systems testing; supporting engineering studies and analysis related to electric, solar, and other projects
Monitoring the installation and operation of various utility-scale solar projects
Reviewing and supporting project schedules, budgets, cost estimates, and providing status reports.
Supporting restoration efforts following storms and other power outage events.
Power Generation track:
Students will have the opportunity to gain knowledge in the field of fossil (natural gas and coal) and hydroelectric generation operations and environmental excellence that will prepare them, upon graduation, to compete for entry-level, professional positions in the utility industry.
Planning and project management for maintenance activities and additions/modifications to DESC's generation facilities
Preparing project scoping, competitive bidding, and project justification
Reviewing and supporting project schedules, budgets, cost estimates, and providing status reports
Supporting plant operations in performing a variety of equipment and systems testing; supporting engineering studies and analysis and equipment and system testing
2024 Spring positions are planned in Aiken/North Augusta, Beaufort, Charleston, and Columbia.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work independently and as a team.
Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving history.
While on a co-op rotation must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned work location and have reliable transportation. (Note: A housing stipend/allowance is available for eligible students).
Must be able to move about freely and perform field work in challenging environments.
Must have strong computer knowledge and skills with demonstrated ability to learn and utilize Microsoft Office products. For Electric Operations track, students must also have demonstrated ability to learn and utilize AutoCAD and GIS products.
Electric Operations-only. Must be able to travel and work outside of normal business hours throughout the company's service territory.
Education Requirements
Must be in the process of obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Biosystems, or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Note: Biosystems and Environmental Engineering positions are only available in the non-nuclear Power Generation track.

Job Summary
This role coordinates with internal and external customers for the design and installation of electric distribution facilities. Determines material needs, time, and cost for projects, engineering calculations, technical designs, and easement requests using project management skills; secures environmental permits and conducts customer meetings; coordinates with internal and external stakeholders for construction, maintenance and relocation of electric distribution facilities. Analyzes electrical load data and performs calculations to determine size and location of electric distribution facilities based on DESC engineering standards, existing or proposed easements, Right-of-Way permits and operational needs and requirements. Inspects project sites, designates facility placement, determines metering requirements, and prepares service agreements and detailed drawings utilizing Arc-FM, Auto-Cad, or other tools as appropriate. Utilizes workforce management (WFM) to prepare cost estimates based on design of new construction or modification of existing facilities. Coordinates installation/relocation of other utilities (i.e. cable television, phone, etc.). Prepares underground drawings, revenue calculations, etc. Determines tree-trimming requirements and initiates activity. Prepares and submits Right-of-Way, environmental, and highway/railroad permit requests. Communicates company policy and procedures, electric service requirements, and project schedule to customers. Reconciles construction as-builts to ensure mapping accuracy in GIS. Assists in service restoration during outages.
Identifies safety issues-Checks equipment and work area regularly to ensure safety and compliance; identifies hazards and improvements that could prevent safety problems; evaluates impact of decisions and actions on own and others' safety.

Job Summary
This role provides Power Generation station warehousing coordination, materials and inventory management, bill of materials creation processes, and service contractor support. Serves as the site representative for all corporate supply management activities and initiatives. Provides strategic support for assigned Power Generation System or Merchant stations. Ensures station supply chain compliance with all legal, regulatory, and procedural requirements governing supply chain management, to include internal audits, external audits, and associated corrective actions. Monitors materials and procurement activities to ensure fulfillment of business requirements including plant issue resolution, and that systems, processes, procurement support and suppliers meet business requirements, to include performance indicator monitoring. Ensures site material needs are met by understanding critical upcoming planned work activities and tracking priority materials for daily and outage material requirements. Coordinates plans and meets material target delivery dates, collaborating with sourcing teams, expeditors, transportation, and warehousing. Works closely with maintenance to determine if plant equipment is obsolete; provides oversight, to include the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), in the anticipation and disposal of station's hardware and software equipment such as computer, electronics, hardware, digital electrical switchgear etc. and vendor planned support with field service and manufacturing abandonment. Provides in-depth analytical support through various Inventory Optimization techniques, process management, and business intelligence to support consistency, cost management, and operational excellence across power generation sites. Ensures stocking levels are appropriate when considering the operational constraints and risks associated with supply volatility. Responsible for training and providing direction to site personnel on Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes, warehouse safety, and inventory control to include storekeepers and trainees. Provide guidance and support to SCM Site Supervisors, ensuring Supply Chain objectives and processes are met. Provides high-level, backup coverage for departmental reporting. May serve as site representative and site contact for specific service contractors such as HVAC, landscaping, and elevators. Supports station work planning as needed to include establishment of new materials including the development of bills of materials, and stockroom efficiencies. This role will provide supply chain support for multiple sites (Brunswick, Greensville, and Roanoke Rapids/Gaston Power Stations), with travel between the sites required.

Job Summary
Independently coordinates with internal and external customers for the design and installation of electric distribution facilities associated with residential subdivision projects.
Responsibilities
Serve as single point of contact for customer/Contractor/municipality; perform due diligence to accurately determine project needs and responsible Design Group; prepare or assist with designs and cost estimates, based upon scope of work and schedule constraints; Responsible for coordination of all permits, joint use issues, and easements in timely manner.
Provide training as needed for contractor resources to ensure consistency across the system; lead resolution of any quality control issues identified with contractors, third party customers, and/or suppliers; monitor work to ensure compliance with approved quality plans and procedures.
Provide electric distribution design support as determined by department supervisor. Duties may include but not be limited to inspection of project sites, organizing site/office meetings, and preparation of detailed drawings utilizing ArcFM, AutoCAD, or other tools as appropriate.
Provide -on-call- assistance during emergencies and storm restoration activities; includes travel to any location within Dominion Energy service territory for duration determined by Company. Expected to use electronic damage assessment tools to provide data for restoration analysis and customer communication.
Quality control associated with subdivision layout to ensure correct GIS mapping is in place prior to submitting projects to CDG; participation in monthly CDG conference calls.

Preferred disciplines: Business, Engineering Technology, Construction Management. All Engineering Technology degrees will be considered (ABET and non-ABET).
