MTD BUS STOP LOCATED JUST OUTSIDE THE FACILITY

Shifts Available:

- 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm

- 3rd shift: Sunday night - Thursday night 10:30pm - 6:30am

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting wage is $16.00/hour with $1.50/hour shift bonus for 2nd shift and $2/hour shift bonus for 3rd shift!

  • $1000 Sign on bonus

  • Overtime opportunities available at 1.5 pay rate and double time on Sundays

  • Annual performance review with potential pay increase and 4% bonus on top of base pay!

  • Additional $475 quarterly attendance bonus

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform material handling and warehousing functions

  • Order filling, processing, storing/ picking of parts, materials, equipment and supplies

  • Operating automated packaging equipment, shipping and receiving

Basic Requirements

  • Ability to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 pounds for intervals of 15-30 minutes

  • Walk squat and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutes, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Set-up, perform maintenance and operate robotic welding equipment

  • Use mechanical and electronic aptitude

  • Use GMAW robotic welding to setup and perform touchups

  • Read and interpret welding blueprints

  • Identify welding defects and use welding inspection tools

Basic Qualifications:

  • Robotic training

  • One year of manufacturing experience

The Large Power Systems Division in Hodges, SC currently has an opening for a 2nd shift Patternmaker. In this role you will construct and repair all types of metal, wood, and plastic patterns using conventional machines and bench work.

What you will do (includes but not limited to):

  • Operating conventional machines

  • Daily operation of power hand tools: Drills, Saw, Impacts, Sanders ...etc.

  • Assemble and construct pattern tooling that may include cavity, gating, risers, pins...etc.

  • Construct and repair all types of metal, wood, and plastic patterns using conventional machines and bench work.

  • Run lathes and 3 axis CNC machines.

  • Support Operation with Tools readiness and repairs.

  • Maintain flexibility patternmakers will be expected to learn other foundry operation functions and be expected to flex to those jobs as needed

  • Follow all PPE requirements and safely procedure.

Basic Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of machining experience

  • The ability to work with others across multiple functional areas.

  • Must be willing to learn new skills and be hands-on.

  • Previous foundry experience.

Job summary:

This role is responsible for process ownership including other Manufacturing Engineering related item within Medium V product value streams. This includes project management, new capital introduction, and all elements related to People Quality Velocity Cost within the value stream. The Field Service Technician is responsible for the delivery, installation, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of pressure control equipment on customer location. As an IT Analyst III (Data Scientist) within our Logistics Information Services division this role will have responsibility for providing enhancements to our data warehouse and performing data analytics on our data warehouse. The successful candidate will provide legal support on a broad range of pre-litigation and litigated matters involving regulatory, commercial, and products-liability related matters. The candidate is expected to be familiar with responding to discovery requests from regulatory agencies, eDiscovery, legal holds, case strategy, taking and responding to discovery, motions practice, trial experience, and/or appellate practice. This role will work directly with outside counsel on matters, including early case assessments, budgets, and review and management of outside counsel billings. The attorney will be responsible for working internally with other Caterpillar attorneys, litigation paralegals, engineers, the eDiscovery group, Legal IT and employee witnesses in a variety of roles, and may be expected to participate on cross-functional teams with other members of the legal department. A successful candidate should be comfortable counseling business managers about risk management and commercial issues.

Duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Providing day-to-day legal counseling on regulatory, commercial, and products liability matters;

Job Summary

As Vice President, Lean, you will report to the Group President of the Resource Industries business segment and will drive the lean strategy and execution plans for the enterprise. Lean impacts 100% of total corporate revenue by supporting enterprise goals through improvements across the extended product value stream (EPVS); including processes in all manufacturing and non-manufacturing areas. Lean methodology focuses specifically on the priorities of Built in Quality (BIQ), Right part Right time (RPRT), Shortening Lead Times (SLT), Capital Utilization (CU), and Manpower Utilization (MU).

Your Team

You will lead a team of approximately 50 professionals who will lead revolutionary change across the enterprise by diagnosing complex business problems and providing recommended treatment plans to accelerate business improvements using the Caterpillar Lean Methodology.

What You Will Do:

  • Lean 6 Sigma learning and deployment . You will be accountable for enterprise Lean deployment, and ensure Lean activities are integrated with other business activities, improvement projects, and enterprise business strategies. Incumbent will report results to Caterpillar's Executive Office.

  • Global Quality . You will facilitate team management and executive engagement to support enterprise standard processes and tools for dealer, field and factory defect reporting, and related metrics, Quality Data Lake administration, problem solving tools including CPI and related databases. You will ensure product quality target cascades, allocation of defects and warranty to accountable metrics. You will support BIQ and related enterprise quality functions, ISO compliant quality policy, training, internal audit and certifications. You will ensure external quality organization engagement including AIAG, ISO/TS, DNV, and Gartner.

  • You will work to achieve long-term policies that impact a large portion of corporate revenue.

  • You will lead the corporate strategy to define, develop, improve, and embed lean across the worldwide enterprise, including processes in manufacturing, product development, and other functional areas (i.e., human resources, procurement, logistics, finance, information systems, etc).

  • You will lead the development for process enablement through common design of systems to drive convergence and simplicity of Lean principles and processes throughout the enterprise.

  • You will act as an advisor or consultant to senior management and may serve as a company-wide resource on highly specialized area or serve multiple units in a broader functional area and assist senior management to interpret and use provided information.

  • Engage in creative problem solving to address operational issues including ergonomic/safety, efficiency improvements, process bottlenecks, and quality concerns.

  • Works with internal and external suppliers to develop and manage projects to ensure efficient and cost-effective systems and processes to produce quality products.

  • Design, develop and implement the integration of manufacturing systems including factory control software, scheduling techniques, simulation, and systems application.

  • Provides manufacturing technical support in process control and internal certification.

  • Concept complex or intricate jigs and fixtures.

Basic Qualifications:
