Job Description

Summary You will serve as a Inventory Management Specialist in the Fleet Logistics Centers of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK. Responsibilities You will assist Fleet Logistics Center organic and external customers in developing work methods, techniques, and standard operating procedures (SOP) for Navy Work Capital Fund Supply management (NWCF-SM) operations. You will be on-hand to assist with internal and external inventory audit support across operations. You will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a thorough knowledge of Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)/Navy supply management and inventory accuracy regulations/policies to perform continuing assignments. You will investigate problems as they occur, recommend resolutions, and report to chain of command on outcome(s). You will utilize knowledge of NAVSUP's evolving supply chain, customer requirements, and legacy evaluation criteria to assist in identifying consolidation and strategic opportunities for site reduction and gaining efficiencies. You will supervise a team of supply specialists and support personnel by directing, managing, and coordinating all functions of the branch. Summary You will serve as a Wood Worker Leader in the Supply Management Department of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the direction and coordination of trades and labor work activities and functions. You will balance workload between employees, check work in progress for accuracy, and advise employees to follow instructions and meet deadlines. You will construct wooden parts, dunnage, or sections used to encase items in containers or hold boxes in place. You will measure and cut lumber for non-standard, skidded, trussed, and other required items. Summary You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/CUSTSPT) of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK. Responsibilities You will be responsible for ensuring that information processed, stored or transmitted by Command information systems is adequately protected with respect to confidentiality, integrity, availability and privacy. You will plan, implement, and manage a comprehensive IA program to ensure all computer systems and networks under Command purview are approved, operated, and maintained per DOD Information Technology Risk Management Framework (RMF). You will direct and oversee the information security incident response program. You will provide oversight, technical support, and interpretation of DOD, Navy, and NAVSUP Information Technology (IT) policies and procedures for Next Generation (NGEN) contract execution. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: . I have one year of experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge and skill in applying IT concepts, principles, methods, and practices sufficient to provide advice and guidance on a wide range and variety of complex IT issues, as well as interpret IT policies, standards, and guidelines. Examples of specialized experience include the following: 1) Applying a wide range of information security policies and protocols further enabling the protection of the entire network infrastructure; 2) Applying a wide variety of applications, operating system, protocols, and equipment used in customer organizations sufficient to provide advice, assistance and/or direction to customers; 3) Utilize a comprehensive knowledge of the characteristics of computer hardware and software systems, ensuring hardware and software services meet network security standards; 4) Applying methods for evaluating, implementing, and disseminating IT security tools, procedures, ensuring compliance with IT security requirements. Summary You will serve as a Management Assistant (GS-07) in the Supply Management Department within the Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville FL (FLCJ) area of responsibility.
