Summary You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Industrial Support Department of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK. Responsibilities You will conduct / coordinate on a continuing basis, the evaluation of design, configuration and engineering changes for major components of ne/extensively modified equipment systems. You will verify configuration overhaul planning (COP) hardware/software items listed on ILS certifications for approved ship alterations and changes have been loaded in CDMD-OA. You will perform research on complex systems that are located on the newest systems or first of the class ships. You will provide ILS services in support of the NSSA Engineering Department Assessment process. You will gather facts by conducting validations of shipboard equipment and systems ensuring accurate configuration information and the correct identification of logistics support elements. Summary You will serve as a Motor Vehicle Operator in the Supply Management Department, Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Management Branch of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO. The duty station is Point Mugu, CA. Responsibilities You will be responsible for transporting hazardous materials within area of responsibility. You will be responsible for following the safest and most direct route to prescribed destination. You will be responsible for completing and documenting pre-operational checklists. You will be responsible for loading and directing the arrangement of cargo. You will be responsible for using a forklift to load and unload cargo. You will operate a tractor trailer and other vehicles on public roads, congested areas, including positioning vehicles and trailers at loading docks, and coupling and uncoupling trailers. Summary You will serve as a Fuel Distribution System Operator in the Regional Fuel Department of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE. Responsibilities You will independently initiate, control, and terminate fuel transfers throughout the tank farm system. You will receive fueling/defueling requests from customers and prioritize, schedule operations, and prepare appropriate documentation and reports You will direct the loading and unloading of fuel aboard tankers, barges, and the transfer of fuel from one tank to another within the tank storage areas. You will operate pick-up trucks, vans, stake trucks, 5,000 gallon refueler trucks, tractor/trailer trucks, forklifts, farm tractors with attachments.
