You will ship, receive, store, segregate, and inventory hazardous and non-hazardous materials You will read and interpret shipping documents and other documentation used to move, store, and track materials You will operate motor vehicles, forklifts, and other Material Handling Equipment You will work with automated supply and/or inventory systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Summary You will serve as a Supervisory General Supply Specialist in the Supply Services Branch of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO. Responsibilities You will oversee the site Transportation and Shipping services and serves as the technical transportation advisor while supervising the site Transportation Assistants. You will prepare internal instructions and regulations, mid and long range plans concerning utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, space and other factors. You will assist the Regional Inventory Accuracy Officer (RIAO) in administering the Navy physical inventory program. You will review physical inventory processes and make recommendations for improvements, and develop processes, procedures and policies for the region. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector having extensive knowledge and experience of a specialized supply operations or management programs that includes inventory, packaging and crating, supporting requirements, storing/distributing, or cataloging. Independently analyze and resolve difficult issues and problems involving supply processes, work methods, supply data management, and day-to-day supply operations procedures is required. Summary You will serve as a Fuels Specialist of NAVSUP FLC SD GF. Responsibilities You will maintain the Maximo Fuels Asset Management and Maintenance System, which is the Department of the Navy's (DoN) primary automated enterprise database system for fuels asset and maintenance management. You will serve as the subject matter expert for the Maximo Database system. You will coordinate with maintenance functional area leads to recommend system changes and serves as the focal point for resolution of recurring and system operating issues.
